SUNDAY DETAILS

From Sunday 20th September, for those of our church family who would like to gather in person, Landmark is ready to welcome you back!

In line with the latest Government guidelines, these will look like smaller socially-distanced meetings, where we will watch the pre-recorded service of worship and word. Unfortunately right now no singing is allowed.

By “social-distanced” we mean at Landmark we are facilitating for you to keep to a 2m distance from other people. And we are asking that you limit your interactions with others to the 2 household guidelines.

We can’t wait to see you there!

For the time being, KIDS CHURCH will continue to run online and the team will be running a series of new interactive content to engage with your kids. It’s going to be totally amazing!

KEEPING YOU SAFE

Your health, wellbeing and safety are of paramount importance to us,

so we’ve implemented a number of changes in our buildings to ensure your peace of mind:

  • Landmark has been deep cleaned and disinfected and we’ve introduced a regime that includes a higher frequency of cleaning.
  • All of our activities and meetings have been COVID risk assessed.
  • Our staff and volunteer team have been fully trained.
  • We’re providing PPE for all staff and our volunteer teams.
  • At the entry point to Landmark we will be taking everyones temperatures.
  • At various points around Landmark you will find hand sanitisation stations.
  • We will operate a one way system.
  • We have set out socially distanced seating within our meeting space.
  • Between services and after every activity our venues are cleaned and disinfected.
  • All of our team members and attendees will be required to wear face-masks.
  • Entry to these services will be by ticket only, and will comply with “Track and Trace” guidelines, and we have limited the capacity to ensure social distancing is maintained.
  • In doing our part to create a safe environment for you to visit, we are also asking for you to comply with the measures that we have put in place. As such, this will form part of the agreement when you reserve your seats online.

Frequently asked questions

Baby Feeding

If you are attending with a baby, please ask a member of the team that is serving and they will direct you to where you can feed. Please note that this space will be open but on a limited capacity.

Before and after services

In keeping with Government guidelines for Places of Worship, we are currently unable to open the foyer and Redwood. Your entry and exit from Landmark will be directed by our onsite teams and we respectfully ask for you to abide by any instructions or requests made of you by our team.

Contact us

Should you have any questions that we have not answered here, please drop us an email at [email protected] and one of our team will get back to you with an answer.

COVID-19 Symptoms

If you have been diagnosed with or are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 we must ask that you do not attend Landmark or any services.

Likewise, if you have been in close contact with a person that has been diagnosed or is experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, please stay at home and watch Crossgate Church online.

In addition, if you have returned from international travel or have been in close contact with someone that has just returned from international travel in the last 14 days, please stay at home.

If either of these apply to you, please let our pastoral team know as we want to support you however we can.

Face masks

Unless you have been given exemption for medical reasons you will be asked to wear a face-mask to attend our services. This is in line with the most up to date Government guidance for Places of Worship. We thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation.

Giving

Giving forms part of our regular worship to God, through our tithes and offering and we want to enable you to do this as simple as possible. We’re still encouraging everyone to give online via our giving page, however, at each of our services there will be an offering station which will be situated at the back of the auditorium as you leave.

Unfortunately, we can’t currently allow time for queuing, so please ask one of our team for a giving envelope as you are shown to your seats and take some time to prepare your giving.

Thank you church! Your giving is making such a difference as weekly we go out and support individuals and families that are being impacted by the pandemic.

Hygiene

Landmark has been deep cleaned and disinfected. The frequency of our cleaning has been increased, plus all surfaces will be sanitised between services.

Landmark will have bathroom facilities, however, these will be open with limited availability.

If you aren’t well on the day we ask that you stay home and watch Crossgate Church online. Please do not attend Landmark or someone else’s home if you are showing any symptoms of COVID 19.

Unless you have been given exemption for medical reasons you will be asked to wear a face-mask to attend our services. This is in line with the most up to date Government guidance for Places of Worship. We thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation.

One way system

Landmark will operate a one way system with separate entrances and exits. This is in place for your safety and we ask that you respect any requests made of you by our team.

Prayer & Response

Social distancing means that we will not be able to facilitate times of prayer and ministry at the front in person or engage in the practice of laying on hands. We do however, still want to offer you the opportunity to receive personal prayer via our current email, [email protected], or through a phone or Zoom call. If you would like someone to contact you after the service to pray with you, please fill out the prayer card available from our Host team and hand it in when you leave.

Social Distancing

We’ve arranged Landmark in accordance with the Government’s latest social distancing guidelines. Households and family units will be able to sit together as a bubble and it’s really important that we respect this. We ask that should you have children with you that you look after them during the service and keep them within your space

These guidelines also mean it’s important to keep no contact with other people other than those serving you on the team and only interact with one other household whilst in church.

Hard as it will be, it also means that these spaces are hug free zones! We appreciate that you may meet people that you haven’t seen in months for the first time, but respectfully ask that you follow this guidance.

Test & Trace

In reserving a seat to attend a Crossgate Church service you agree that your details may be shared with NHS Test and Trace in the event of a COVID-19 outbreak. For more information please refer to our Privacy Policy.

Ticket

We have limited the capacity at Landmark so that we can create a safe and socially distanced experience. To ensure you get a seat, we’re going to require you to reserve a free ticket online before you come to church. We would ask you only to book tickets that you will use to make sure that someone else doesn’t miss out. We also ask that you give yourself plenty of time before the service starts to allow us to check you in and then to seat you. You can book your tickets on this page.

Toilets

Landmark has bathroom facilities, however, these will be open with limited availability.

If you are attending a meeting with children and they need to use the facilities, we ask that you accompany them.

Worship

As you watch the pre-recorded worship, to prevent transmission, and in keeping with the current Government guidelines, we will not initially be singing out loud when we gather and we ask that you abide by this.
