Crossgate Church began as a group of five families meeting together in their homes to pray during the mid-1990's. This value of meeting in homes became an essential part of the DNA of what has grown to become Crossgate Church. Out of a heart to reach those in our local community who didn't know Jesus, we launched our first service in a village primary school with 40 people in September 1995. As the church grew over the years we launched multiple services, youth groups, toddler groups and community events. After about a decade, we moved our Sunday services into a local high school where we continued to worship together and serve our local community as God allowed us to grow and increase.

 

Twenty years after we launched our Sunday services, through God's faithfulness, we secured our own premises. In 2016 we moved into Landmark, in the heart of the city of Preston, enabling us to reach and serve people throughout Preston and the surrounding area.

We are a church where everyone is welcome to come and find family, belonging and home.  We are a church that is always learning how better to love God and love people. A church that is centred around Jesus Christ. A church in which people can learn and grow and thrive.
